Getting To The Airport

From South Yorkshire, the usual route to Manchester Airport is over the A628 Woodhead Pass. In the case of the Woodhead Pass being closed, we would take the M1 north followed by the M62 motorway. The airport is located directly off the M60 Ring-road Motorway.

Our driver will drop you off and pick you up directly outside the entrance to your terminal, and will be waiting for you for your return journey as soon as you exit the terminal. Journey times from South Yorkshire can take 1.5 to 2 hours. This may however, be affected by the time of day and traffic conditions. Travelling early in the morning or late at night may be substantially quicker as traffic delays are avoided. Passengers are advised to be at the airport 3 hours prior to their flight departure.

We used Advanced Travel for a corporate day out at the Doncaster St Leger Festival for our VIP clients. After a horrendous experience with another coach company last year I was slightly nervous similar issues would arise. I couldn't have been more wrong. We booked a minibus to take us to the MillionWomen Rise March in London this Saturday that was shown on Channel 4 news. We were driven in luxury style as it was a leather seated Mercedes. The Driver was incredibly polite and helpful opening & shutting doors, and making sure everyone was comfortable before setting off for each leg of the journey.We will most definitely be booking them in the future.
